Quartz Listeners:
One of its key features is listeners: objects that are called when some event in the system occurs.
There are three types of listeners -
2. TriggerListeners
3. SchedulerListeners.
Listeners objects are create to perform any action and these actions are based on some events occurring within the scheduler. JobListeners receive events related to jobs and TriggerListeners receive events related to triggers.
SchedulerListeners are much similar to the TriggerListeners and JobListeners, except they both receive notification of events within the Scheduler itself - not necessarily events related to a specific trigger or job.
Events related to JobListener : A notification when a job is about to be executed or about to be completed, and a notification that the job has completed execution.
Events related to TriggerListener : Trigger firings and Trigger completions.
Events related to SchedulerListener : Addition of a job/trigger, removal of a job/trigger, notification of the scheduler being shutdown, a serious error within the scheduler.
